OUR 3D PROCESS
At 3D.CR, we believe that 3D/CGI visualizations should be accessible to all, regardless of technical know-how. That’s why we have developed a streamlined process that simplifies the complexities of 3D rendering, making it an enjoyable and exciting experience for your entire business team. Our goal is to ensure that the process is not only easy but also successful for your business.

STEP 1
Kickoff & Estimation
First and foremost, we’ll help you understand the 3D process as we determine what your ultimate goal is. We’ll then provide you with relevant examples that fall within your budget so you’ll have a realistic idea of what’s possible. Estimates are based on daily and weekly studio hours as well as project-based rates.
STEP 2
Asset Collection
Depending on the type of 3D project you want, we may need to request some of your working files. Examples include 3D models and material references, master plans, floor plans, and prototype photos.
We then analyze these files in detail and determine if they contain the detail needed for the 3D project you’ve requested.
STEP 3
Creative Preview
This is where the fun happens. We explore environments, placement, and camera angles. You can expect clay or low resolution renders at this point. Once the overall 3D composition has been determined, we lock our scene and move onto lighting, textures, and the finer details.
STEP 4
Revisions
Once overall direction has been established, a pre-determined number of rounds allows for tweaks to minor details including lighting, materials and overall aesthetics.
STEP 5
Final Signoff
Prior to rendering out your final images, we will provide a higher resolution screen preview that will allow for minor revisions. From here we will request sign-off to begin final renders.
Depending on how complicated a render is, along with its final resolution, can tremendously affect how long it takes to output final artwork.
STEP 6
Final Renders
After final renders, we typically use other pieces of software to bring in individual details to make your product or scene look as beautifully realistic as possible.
